Dolores "Dee" Loskarn Vetal, 90, died peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2020 surrounded by her family in her home in Catonsville, MD.  Born in 1929 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Michael Sr. and Marie Loskarn. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Donald Vetal, Sr. with whom she resided in the Irwin, Pennsylvania area for over 35 years. She and her husband relocated to Punta Gorda, FL and then Catonsville, MD upon their retirements.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Mary (Bill) Skalski of Ellwood City, PA, Donald (Mary Ellen) Vetal, Jr. of Finksburg, MD, Daniel (Cathy) Vetal of Manassas, VA, and David (Ed) Vetal of Pasadena MD.  She was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Charles Loskarn, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: Michael Loskarn, Jr., and three of her infant children.

Dee was an alumnus of Baltimore's Seton High School and was employed by the Baltimore Transit Authority until her marriage.  In addition to raising her children, she was employed by Monsour Hospital, and the Norwin Public Library.  Her kindness and compassion were evident in her work as the Homebound Visitor and Coordinator for the library, providing books and companionship to the elderly and disabled in the Norwin area for over 10 years. She was a longtime parishioner at St. Agnes Church and was involved in the Christian Mothers, the CYO, and the Cub Scouts.  Dee was a charter member and Past President of the Norwin Lioness Club. Additionally, she was a 4-H Leader and enthusiastic member of the Norwin Band Aides. She valued learning throughout her life, and enjoyed taking classes at the University of Pittsburgh. She loved to spend time with her family, traveling, and socializing with the many close friends she made over the years.

Services and interment are private.
