Doloris Maxine Kell

Doloris Maxine Kell, 91, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 in San Antonia, TX. Born on October 16, 1928, in Cincinatti, OH, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Nellie Luckett Wong. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Kell who died in 1982.

Maxine was visiting her daughter, Suzanne, when she fell and suffered a major head injury in 2017. She survived with some health complications and so remained with her daughter until the end. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Heart of Texas Hospice for their caring and support.

Surviving her are children: Suzanne Smith and husband David of San Antonio, TX, and Mark Kell and wife Patti of Towson, MD, grandchildren: Brian Kell and wife Annie of Denver, CO, Meaghan Kell of Towson, MD, and Kevin Kell of Denver, CO, new great granddaughter: Penelope Kell of Denver, CO, siblings: Noel Wong and wife Rema of Lewisburg, WV, Nelson Winters Akron and wife Terri of OH, Stanford Wong and wife Ann of Cincinatti, OH, Bruce Wong and wife Jean of Cincinatti, OH, and Carolyn Wong of Lebanon, OH, a sister-in-law: Elsie Toerner of Cincinatti, OH, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by longtime companion: Dave Claggett of Columbia, MD.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 16, from 5-7 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, at 2 pm, at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 203 E. Chatsworth Ave., Reisterstown, MD 21136. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery, Reisterstown, MD.
