Donald G. Hampt Jr., 70, of North Las Vegas, formerly of Taneytown, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at El Jenn Rehab/Nursing Center, N. Las Vegas, of cancer.
Born April 7, 1938, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Donald G. Hampt Sr. and Mary E. McClure Hampt.
He was a retired electrician. He enjoyed buying, selling and trading at flea markets. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving are children Melanie A. Hampt of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., Bianca L. Hampt-Montes, Donald G. Hampt III and Caroline J. Hampt, all of North Las Vegas, and Richard Hampt of Midway Park, N.C.; sister and brother-in-law Virginia and Herbert Basler of Glenville, Pa.; brother and sister-in-law John D. and Kathi A. Hampt of Owings Mills; and grandchildren Makayla, Micah and Marley Montes, all of North Las Vegas.
Service and interment are private.
