Donald W. Hoff, 67, of Manchester died Friday, February 27, 2009 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born in Hanover, PA on April 1, 1941, he was the son of the late Willard and Hilda Leese Hoff. He was the husband of Rose Heindel Hoff, his wife of 41 years.
Mr. Hoff was retired from National Can and was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed restoring antique tractors and was a member of the York-Adams 2 Cylinder Club. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Ravens, and his grandchildren's sporting events.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children David Hoff of Westminster, and Julie Hoff Parkins of Hanover, PA; his grandchildren Mason and Morgan; his sisters Jean Fidler of Hanover, Pa and Joan Wisner of Glenville, Pa; his brothers Burnell Hoff of Manchester and Dale Hoff of Virginia.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with Rev. Matthew S. Schenning officiating.
Interment will be in the New Lutheran Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
