Doris Pearl Guy, 84, of Hampstead died Friday, February 8, 2013 at her home.
Born March 12, 1928 in Henryton, she was the daughter of the late Keith Albaugh and Indi Pearl Staubitz Albaugh. She was the wife of James Eugene Guy, who died in 1973.
She was a packer for Maryland Cup Company and was a member of the former Faith Baptist Church. Over the years, she enjoyed crafts, sewing, and playing Bingo.
Surviving are her children Joan Wingfield of Rockford, IL and Jane E. Leitner and husband Jerry of Hampstead; granddaughters Nikki and Jammi Wingfield; great grandchildren Jeremiah, Michael, Bryce, Tristan, and Tatum; and a great nephew Brent Wheeler and wife Tessa.
She was predeceased by her siblings Thurman Albaugh and Mary Cole.
The family will receive 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Chris Brammer officiating.
Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
