Doris "Doll" Mann age 85 of Pikesville, MD., died Thursday August 26,2010 at the Seasons Hospice in Randallstown, MD.
Born Oct. 31, 1924 in Reisterstown, MD. she was the daughter of the late George S. and Carrie M. Byerly Garman.
She was the wife of the late Darrell Leroy "Skip" Mann.
She retired as an assistant circulation manager for the Baltimore County Public Library after 20 years of service. She was a former member of Ames United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters: Patricia Verdis of Littlestown, PA. and Linda MacLeod and her husband James of Catonsville, 3 grandchildren: Holly, Bryan and Adrienne, 4 great grandchildren: Hayden, Tate, Clay and Bella, 1 sister: Mary Bean of Reisterstown and 1 brother: James D. Garman of Cockeysville.
She was predeceased by her sisters: Ann Bennett, Marie Shipley and 4 brothers: George B., Charles E., Louis W. and Arthur L. Garman
Friends may call on Saturday, Sep. 11, 2010 from 2:00 – 4:00pm at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where a Memorial Service will begin at 4:00pm. Rev. Dr. Clarence L. Roark officiating.
Interment Private.
