Doris Ann Mcgee

Doris Ann McGee, 79, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at her home.  Born on July 23, 1945, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Howard L. Schmidt and Esther Mae Keller Schmidt.  She was the beloved husband of 40 years to Ronald Eugene McGee.

Doris was a graduate of Woodlawn High School, Class of 1964. Years ago, she enjoyed dancing with her husband and participating in 4H, especially with the horses. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at local nursing homes. She was a loyal member of Manchester Baptist Church.

Surviving her in addition to her husband is a son: Stephen Barnes.

Doris was predeceased by her siblings: Samuel, Paul, Betty, and Howard, Jr.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10-11 am, at Manchester Baptist Church, 2933 Manchester Baptist Church Road, Manchester, MD, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am, with Rev. Dr. David Scafide officiating.

Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Manchester Baptist Church, 2933 Manchester Baptist Church Rd, Manchester, MD 21102.
