Doris Jean Waesche Lessner, 70, of Franklin, Tenn., formerly of Westminster, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, from COPD/ emphysema.
Born March 11, 1937, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late T. Albert Waesche Sr. and Anna R. Huber Waesche. She was the wife of the late John L. Lessner Sr., her husband of 44 years.
She was raised in Pimlico until marriage then moved to Pikesville. During her retirement years she lived in Westminster, and the last two years in Franklin.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Donna L. and Wayne Keegan of Franklin; son and daughter-in-law John L. Jr. and Rhona Lessner of Carrollton, Ga.; brothers and sisters-in-law Charles C. and Betty Waesche, and Robert H. and Meryl Waesche; and grandchildren John L. III and Christopher M. Lessner, and Matthew C. and Emma R. Keegan.
She was predeceased by brothers George W. Robertson and T. Albert Waesche Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills. Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
