Doris R. Wentz

Doris R. Wentz, 94 of Homewood at Plum Creek formally of Manchester, MD passed Friday Nov. 4, 2022 at UPMC Hanover Hospital in Hanover, PA.

Born Nov. 27, 1927 in Carroll Co. MD she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elsie Markel Shorb. She was the wife of the late Raymond Earl Wentz.

Doris was retired from the Chris Craft Sewing Factory. She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her children: Ray Wentz and wife Sue of Glenville, PA and Pam Nichols and husband Bill of Hanover, PA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her daughter and son in law: Cathy and Charles Harden and 9 siblings.

The family will receive friends on Monday Nov. 7, 2022 from 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A., 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester, MD where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in John Luther Miller Cemetery, Westminster, MD.
