Doris Mae Wheat

Doris Mae Wheat, 89, of Randallstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Seasons Hospice at Northwest Hospital. Born on May 3, 1929, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Virginia Blizzard. She was the beloved wife of the late Vernon Wheat.

Among the many things she enjoyed doing, she loved gardening, canning, and spending time with her family.

Surviving her are children: Linda Childers, Larry Wheat, and William "Billy" Wheat, sons-in-law: Roger Childers, Mike Cassidy and daughter-in-law Terri Wheat, grandchildren: Brie, Daniel, Denny Jr., Steve, Candice, Melanie, Nicole and Michael, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, siblings: Gene, Carol, and Mary.

She will be resting with her late children, son: Dennis Wheat, daughter: Verna Cassidy, daughter-in-law: Mary Wheat, and grandsons: Roger Lee Childers, Jr., Larry Wheat, Jr., and Francis Childers.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service on Friday, March 15, at 1 pm at Lake View Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784.
