Dorothy Louise Alban, 88, of Westminster died Friday, October 12, 2012 at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster.
Born April 4, 1924 in Lineboro, she was the daughter of late Emory and Beulah Zepp.
She was the wife Milton "Jake" Alban, her husband of 46 years.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and Lazarus United Church of Christ. She worked at the Reisterstown Veterinary Hospital for over 25 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter Donna Alban; grandchildren Robert Alban and wife Jennifer of Williston, VT and Sherry Rivera and husband Rafael of Hanover, PA; her great grandchildren Lily, O'Neil, and Annie; her cousin Dale Wilhelm and wife Peggy; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Pauline Zepp; brothers Vernon Jacob Zepp and Russell Zepp.
The family will receive friends 2 p.m. Monday until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with the Rev. LoisAnn Furgess-Oler officiating.
Interment will be in Lineboro Cemetery.
