Dorothy Ann Chaney, 76 years old of Taneytown, died Monday, February 17, 2014 in her residence at Lorien Nursing Home in Taneytown.
Born August 5, 1937 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Richard Gilmore and Ella Sue Jones Gilmore.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Sharon and Donald Schaeffer, Donna and Hilton Silver, Wayne and Michelle Smith, Susan and Daniel Downs, Richard Evans, Lisa Evans, 9 grandchildren and a sister and brother-in-law Mary Jane and Richard Mitchell.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, from 1-3 and 5-7 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
A graveside service will be Noon, Saturday, March 1, 2014 in New Cathedral Cemetery with interment to follow.
