Dorothy Mae Dawson

Dorothy Mae Dawson, 89, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at her residence. Born on September 10, 1927, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry F. Sr., and Dena Dayhoff Wright. She was the wife of the late Thomas P. Dawson who passed away in 2006.

Dorothy retired after working for Doxsee Food. She was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles, enjoyed crocheting in her free time, and loved spending time with her family.

Surviving her are children: Buddy Marsh, Jr., (Annette), Marsha Ross, Mike Marsh (Barb), Sue Wheatley (Ed), Gena Luers (George), and Cindy King (Terry), 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 7 great- great grandchildren, 5 great-great-great grandchildren, and a brother: Norman W. Wright, Sr., (Dorothy).

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 31, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1, at 10 am. Interment to follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park, Baltimore, MD.
