Dorothy Christine Debus age 88 of Owings Mills, MD died Saturday Feb. 28, 2015 at the Westminster Ridge Nursing Home in Westminster, MD.
Born Jan. 27, 1927 in Virginia she was the daughter of the late Tyler Edwin and Viola P. Tinsley Burton. She was the wife of the late Charles "Cotton" Edward Debus who died in 2006.
Years ago she had worked at Hochschild Kohn Dept. Store in data processing.
She is survived by her brother, Charles Ronald Burton and wife Michele, nieces and nephews, Robyn Hinke and husband Mike, Burton Smith and wife Lora, Christina Bildstein and husband John, Tobie Burton and husband Dave and Ashley Myers and husband Coty. She was also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102 on Wednesday at 11:00am.
A private interment will be in Evergreen Mem. Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm and on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service at the funeral chapel.
