Dorothy Florence Dunnigan Dumhart, 96, of Manchester formerly of Hampden died Monday, August 4, 2008 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born March 11, 1912 in Baltimore and was the daughter of the late John Dunnigan and Helena Madora Burton Dunnigan. She was the wife of the late Melvin James Dumhart, her husband of 50 years, who died on July 29, 1986.
She was member of the Hampden Senior Citizens and Hampden Road Runners. She worked for Meadow Mills in Hampden and Catalyst Research in Mt. Washington.
Surviving her are her daughter and son in law Sylvia and Tony Anuszewski of Manchester, her sister Dora Pimental of Glyndon, her brothers James Dunnigan of Bel Air and Charles Dunnigan of Baltimore; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Diseff James Dumhart, her sisters Olive Alexander, Helen Bateman and Hazel Dunnigan and her brothers Bernard Dunnigan, Douglas Dunnigan, Wilford Dunnigan, Arwine Dunnigan, Jack Dunnigan, and Kenneth Dunnigan.
A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester. Interment will be in Waugh United Methodist Church Cemetery in Glen Arm.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-5 and Friday 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral chapel.
