Dorothy Burnham Langrehr, 92 years old of Westminster, died on February 13, 2008 at the Carroll Lutheran Village. Born March 14, 1915 at Alto Dale Farm she was the daughter of the late George Robert Burnham and Minnie F. Snyder Burnham. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years William "Bill" Thomas Langrehr in 1988.

With the exception of the last two years, Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Baltimore County. She was the oldest living member of Stone Chapel in Garrison Forest and church historian. She began her affiliation with Stone Chapel as an infant. She married her husband there and their daughters were christened there. Her faithfulness spanned nearly a century.

She attended Garrison Grade School, Franklin High School and graduated from Baltimore Business School. Dorothy enjoyed crafting, bowling, traveling, antiquing and especially gardening. Her greatest pleasure was her family, being a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughters and their husbands: Gail and Fred Kunkel of Monkton and Linda and Buddy Wheat of Westminster. She was the grandmother of Craig Kunkel, Kara Hosler, Melissa Yakabouski and Jamie Barry. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two brothers: Calvin and Howard Burnham.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Krug Chapel, at Carroll Lutheran Village. Rev. William R. Boyer officiating. The family will receive friends at Krug Chapel Saturday Morning from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at which time services will begin.

Interment Private.
