Dorothy Elizabeth Lookingbill

Dorothy Elizabeth "Dot" Lookingbill, 97, of Westminster, MD, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Westminster Healthcare Center. Born on August 8, 1920 in Pikesville, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Fisher Whitcomb and Mary Elizabeth Carroll Whitcomb. She was the wife of the late Charles "Charlie" Lookingbill.

Dorothy enjoyed church, spending time with family, reading, baking and crafts.

Surviving her is her daughter: Ethel May Alderson, grandchildren: Franklin Deitz, William Deitz, Roni Deitz, Connie Alderson, John Alderson, Kevin Alderson and Kandy Miles, 15 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren, her affectionate and adoring nieces: Vicki L. Kriner & Kim D. Cooper, and stepdaughter: Cathy Lookingbill.

She was predeceased by a son: Francis Norris Springfield, Jr., sisters: Anna Swank and Charlotte Clark, and brothers: Richard, Jimmy, Kenny, Roland, and Tommy Whitcomb.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 9, at 12 pm at All Saints Cemetery, 84 Bond Avenue, Reisterstown, MD 21136.
