Dorothy "Dottie" Louise Swan, 89, of Finksburg, MD, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, March 21, 2022. Born on April 25, 1932 in Timonium, MD, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Ann Turnbaugh. She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin David Swan, who passed away in 1997.
Dottie worked as a coil finisher with Telemecanique.
Surviving her are children: Fred Anderson and wife Brenda, and Brian Anderson, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many friends and neighbors.
She was predeceased by children: Debbie Anderson, John "Ron" Anderson and wife Gerri, Wayne Richard "Rick" Anderson and wife Kathy, and Donna Lynn Anderson.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, March 24, from 3-7 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, March 25 at 10:30 am.
Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
