Dorothy V. Yingling

Dorothy V. (Coppersmith) Yingling, 97, of Manchester, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Golden Crest Assisted Living in Hampstead. Born on August 30, 1925, in Lineboro, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. Coppersmith and Treva V. (Therit) Coppersmith. She was the wife of the late Robert B. Yingling, her husband of 62 years, who died on July 11, 2009.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester and graduated from the Manchester High School class of 1942. She was also retired from the AAI Corporation in Cockeysville, MD.

She is survived by her son: Dennis W. Yingling of Manchester, granddaughter: Shelley N. Frock and husband Craig Frock of Hanover, PA, and one great-granddaughter: Emily N. Frock of Hanover, PA.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister: Mildred A. Heindel, brother: John W. Graf, and daughter-in-law: Linda Yingling.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. 21102. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dorothy Lundgren officiating.

Interment will follow at New Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester.
