Douglas Rush Grice

Douglas Rush Grice, 82, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Hampton Meadows Assisted Living in Towson, MD. Born on November 2, 1939, in Baltimore at The Hospital for the Women of Maryland. He was the son of George Louis Grice and Georgia Rush Grice. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Ann Grice, who passed away in 2018 and the beloved husband of Harriet Joan Grice, who passed away in 2000. He was beloved brother of Margarette Lucille Denhard who passed away 2006 and Donald Louis Grice Sr. who passed away in 2015.

Doug grew up and resided in the Baltimore area his entire life, however from 1968 to 2021, he loved his property on Longnecker Rd in Baltimore County where he enjoyed the animals and nature around him. He spent many hours improving the property with projects like building a barn for the horses, building an addition to the house which included two field stone fireplaces and growing a garden among his 11 acres of woods there.

He is survived by his daughter: Kathleen Marie Merrill and her husband Michael Anthony Merrill, granddaughter: Kaitlyn Michelle George and her husband Rowland Eugene George, and grandson: Kurtis Clay Merrill.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 12, at 11 am, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
