Douglas Bryan Langkam

Douglas Bryan Langkam, 61, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away suddenly on December 19, 2018, at his home. Born on August 7, 1957, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Mary Elizabeth Hauf Langkam of Florida and the late John Lewis Langkam, Jr. He was the loving husband of the late Renata Berta Langkam, who passed away in 2003.

Douglas worked as a self-employed contractor and was a graduate of North Carroll High School, class of 1975.

Surviving him in addition to his mother is a stepdaughter: Angela Davis of Havre de Grace, MD, grandchildren: Anthony, Michael, and Darrick and wife Lisa, great-grandchildren: D.J., Emmily, Mason, and Hadley, and siblings: Lynda Utz and husband Bill of Hanover, PA, John Langkam, III, and late wife Sharon of Glen Rock, PA, Patricia Campbell and husband Charles of Goldsboro, MD, George (Teddy) Langkam and wife Sue of Hanover, PA, Russell (Rusty) Langkam and wife Kathleen of Hanover, PA, Fred Langkam of Glen Rock, PA, and Cathy Day and husband Jim of Florida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and extended family.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 1-3 pm with a memorial service at 2 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102.
