Dwight E. Miller

Dwight E. Miller, 67, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at his home. Born on March 21, 1954 at Fort Meade, MD, he was the son of the late Lt. Col. Charles Ivan Miller and Betty Lou Yelton Miller.

Dwight graduated in 1972 from North Carroll High School, and went on to attend Towson University. Years ago, he worked with Black and Decker, Dutterer's, and Superthrift. More recently, he worked with the Carroll County Government as a surveyor technician. Dwight was a member of Kirkridge ARP Church. He was also a member of the Carroll County Coin Club, the World Wildlife Fund, and the National Audubon Society. He enjoying hiking, camping, and being outdoors.

Surviving him are brothers: Wayne D. Miller and wife Cathy of Millers, MD, and Mark S. Miller and wife Susan of Manchester, MD. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Hannah Schwartzbeck and husband Jake and family, Matthew Miller and family, Gregory Miller and wife Jesse and family, and Joshua Miller.

He was predeceased by sister-in-law, Sissy Miller.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, January 29, from 10-11:30 am at the Kirkridge ARP Church, 2236 Old Fort Schoolhouse Road, Hampstead, MD, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30 am, with Rev. Steven Badorf officiating.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.
