E. Anita Price

E. Anita Price, 90, of Hampstead passed peacefully Thursday, April 14, 2016 at her home. Born April 25, 1925 in Hereford, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Hilda Miller, (nee Palmer). She was the wife of Samuel Ross Price, her husband of 72 years. She was a housewife and enjoyed working on the family farm and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Church of the Open Door in Westminster.
In Addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Linda Symes of Pasadena, Gary Price and wife Jean of Hampstead, Charlene Price of Westminster, and Cindy Price of Dundalk; her sister Anne Naylor of Hereford; her grandchildren Dana and husband Darrell, Stephanie and husband Joe, Jeff and wife Kathy, Dan, Kristen and husband Dave; her great-grandchildren Dylan, Travis, Jamie, Joshua, Andrew, Alex, Ryan, Brittany, Brantley, and Ryleigh. She was predeceased by her son-in-law John Symes and her siblings Robert Miller, Louise Croft, Mearl Sentz, and Jean Raymond.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester and 10 a.m. until time of funeral service, 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Church of the Open Door, 550 Baltimore Blvd., Westminster. Interment will be in Greenmount Church Cemetery, Greenmount. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Price's names to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
