Earl Benjamin Howard, 90, of Taneytown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Normandie Ridge Health Center in York, PA. Born on August 12, 1930 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son to the late Earl Benjamin Howard, Sr., and Frances Dyker Howard-Hueg. He was the beloved husband to the late Susan Janet Vance Howard, who passed away in 2016.
Years ago, Earl was an electrical engineer for Westinghouse. He most recently was the owner and operator of the House of Balance in Elkridge, MD. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Earl enjoyed building engines, participating in tractor pulls with his tractor "Hot Damn" and was a member of the East Coast Pullers.
He is survived by his children: Nancy Weller and husband Daniel of Taneytown, MD, Natalie Howard and significant other Tom Albright of Rosedale, MD, Amy Howard and husband Tom Wynkoop of Hollywood, FL, and grandson: Vance Lee Weller. Earl is also survived by his sisters: Joan Surace of Florida, Alice Tall of Odenton, MD, and Ruth Howard of Odenton, MD.
Funeral services and interment are private.
