Earl Jacob Miller, Sr., 90, of Westminster died Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born March 10, 1921 in Maryland, he was the son of the late Alvin Steger and Lettie Zepp Steger. He was the husband of the late Ethel Marie Lebo Miller, his wife of 50 years, who died in 1994.
He was a member of the Westminster Kingdom Hall, Jehovah Witness.
Surviving are his sons and daughter-in-law Earl J., Jr. and Shirley Miller of Taneytown and Roy D. Miller of Westminster; his grandchildren Anna Dix, Cassandra Miller, and April Miller; his great grandchildren Tonya Crabbs, Timothy Dix, and Nathan Miller; his siblings Alvin Steger, Jr. and Doris Goucher.
He was predeceased by his sister Louella Fowble.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday.
Interment will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Mrs. Anna Dix, P.O. Box 2105, Westminster, MD 21158 to help pay his mortgage.
