Earl Milton Swem, 92, of Owings Mills died on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Seasons Hospice in Randallstown.
Born in Baltimore on March 27, 1916, he was the son of the late George Earl Swem and Blanche Tawney Swem. He was the husband of the late Carrie A. Wright Swem.
Mr. Swem was a self employed fence contractor and a veteran of the United States Navy during WWII.
Surviving are his children Russell Chaffman of Calgary, Canada, Nancy Wehner of Owings Mills, Donna Price of Hampstead, and Thomas Swem of Douglasville, GA; his 12 grandchildren; his 14 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Douglas Hays officiating.
Interment will be in the Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery in Reisterstown.
