Edith May Hershey

Edith May Hershey, 98, of Timonium, Maryland, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, June 17, 2019. Born on May 11, 1921 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Emma Smith. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Norman Hershey.

Edith was a member of IATSE Wardrobe Local 913 and worked many years at the Morris Mechanic Theater in Baltimore. After retirement, she loved playing cards – bridge, Pinochle, Texas Hold 'Em – and was known for her good luck at BINGO.

Surviving her is her daughter: Barbara Miller of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, her grandchildren: Kim and Karen Miller, great grandson: Lucas, and her daughter in law: Janice Hershey.

She was predeceased by her son: Kevin C. Hershey, and a sister: Helen Troyer.
