Edna Ella Crooks

Edna Ella Crooks, 93, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 31, 2017 at FutureCare Cherrywood. Born July 30, 1924 in Owings Mills, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Annie Blanche Beck. She was the wife of the late Ross Alfred "Bud" Crooks.

Years ago, she was a school bus aid for Baltimore County Public Schools.

Surviving her are children: Constance Amos of Westminster, MD and dear friend/significant other David Bosley of Reisterstown, MD, and Adele Thomas of Sykesville, MD, grandchildren: Robert Thomas and wife Tabitha, and Bryan Thomas and significant other Tammy Johnson, all of Sykesville, MD, and great grandchildren: Ethan Thomas and Rosalie Thomas.

She was predeceased by sons-in-law: John C. Amos and Robert L. Thomas, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 3, from 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 4, at 11 am. Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
