Edna "Elaine" Kibler

Edna "Elaine" Kibler, 95, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at UPMC Hanover in Hanover, PA. Born on November 29, 1928, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late St. Joseph Shipe and Annie Shipe Jester.

Elaine loved to sew, cook, and bake.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her are children: Joanne Magin, Jacob Kibler and wife Karen, Rhonda Kibler, and Deborah Utz and husband Dennis.  She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Elaine was predeceased by her brother: Garland Shipe, and half-brother: Robert Shipe.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, May 28, from 5-7 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29 at 10 am, with Pastor Rodney Gross officiating.

Interment to follow in Lineboro Cemetery, Lineboro, MD.
