Edward Joseph Barczak, Jr.

Edward Joseph Barczak, Jr., 74, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. Born on January 3, 1952, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Edward Joseph Barczak, Sr. and Josephine Phophila Brezhorski Barczak. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie Margaret Rampolla Barczak, who passed away in 2018.

Edward worked as a claims adjuster for the State of Maryland. He was a loyal, active and faithful member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed eating seafood, especially crabs. He also liked fishing and enjoying a good cigar. Edward was a good person and will be missed by all who knew him.

Edward is survived by many friends and his church family.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, March 30, from 2-5 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 31, at 11 am, at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, MD.

Interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
