Edward "Bud" Elzy Crafton age 71 of Hampstead, MD died Saturday June 7, 2014 at his home.
Born February 3, 1943 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Thomas Lee and Ruth Hazel Hepburn Crafton. He was the husband of 53 years to Mary Agnes Loiacono Crafton.
He was a retired Iron Worker for Local 16. He was also a Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 200, Hampstead, MD, an avid fisherman, enjoyed carpentry work and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving in Addition to his wife are a son: David Thomas Crafton Sr. of South Carolina, siblings: Faith Davis of New Windsor, Emma Lamp of Baltimore County, Karen Spence of Littlestown, PA and Ronald Crafton of Hanover, PA, grandchildren: David T. Crafton Jr. of Hanover, PA, Amanda Crafton of New Oxford, PA and April Kirkpatrick of Dover, PA. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by sister: Florence Mercurio.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD on Tuesday at 11:00am.
Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
