Edward Calvin Hull III, 52, of Manchester, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.

Born May 3, 1961, in Baltimore, he was the son of Betty Jean Gaeng Hull, of Kent Island, and the late Edward Calvin Hull Jr. He was the husband of Lisa Anna Pfeil.

He enjoyed working and worked in home improvement and construction.

Surviving, in addition to his mother and wife, are children E. Calvin Hull IV and fiancée Jill Lightner, and Patrick Hull and wife Diana, all of Eldersburg, Russell Hull, of Sharpsburg, Danne Dittrich and wife April, of Taneytown, Amanda Bosma and husband Chris, and Sarah Pfeil, all of Baltimore, and Sean Pfeil and Samantha Pfeil, both of Manchester; siblings Deborah Staubitz and husband Ray, Tim Johnson and wife Diane and Maureen Johnson, all of Westminster, and Beth Bobb and husband John, of Henderson; nieces and nephews Shannon Goad and husband Michael, of Marriottsville, Jeannine Necessary and husband Thomas, of Denton, Tim Johnson and fiancée Kristian Eckhart, of Westminster, Jessica Collier and husband Charles, of Queenstown, Steven Bobb, of Perry Hall, and Gregory Johnson, of Westminster; and grand-nieces and grand-nephews Emma and Thomas Necessary.

He was predeceased by a brother, Mark Joseph Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
