Eileen M. Witte, 76, of Westminster formerly of Owings Mills died Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born on July 14, 1932 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. Drechsler and Alice M. Drechsler. She was the wife of Nevin E. Witte, Jr., who died in 2001.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her children Teresa Somers, Deborah Witte, Marie Witte, Richard Witte, Robert Witte, and, Joseph Witte; her brother Frederick Drechsler; her sisters Mary Catherine Sterner and Kathleen Scaldora; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Nevin E. Witte, III and Gena Witte.
A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills with Rev. Timothy P. Feaser officiating. Interment will be in New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
