Elaine L. Caltrider age 64 of Manchester, MD. died Thursday July 23,2009 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD.
Born Feb. 23,1945 in Manchester, MD. she was the daughter of the late Herbert L. and Dortha L. Gaffney Winand. She was the wife of 48 years to Harold W. Caltrider.
She and her husband owned and operated Caltrider's Garage in Manchester, MD. She was active and was an elder in St. David's United Church of Christ in Hanover, PA. She enjoyed children, animals and family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children: David B. Caltrider of Manchester, MD., Donald B. and wife Karen E. Caltrider of Hampstead, MD. and Melissa A. Caltrider of Manchester, MD. Brother: Glenn A. Winand of New Oxford, PA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Monday July 27,2009 at 10:00am. with her pastor Rev. Scott Sager officiating. Interment will be in St. David's Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
