Eleanor Bell (nee Bach), age 80, of Westminster, Maryland died peacefully on October 28, 2014 at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson, MD.

Born August 15, 1934 in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Leif and Edel Bach. She was the wife of the late Erwin L. Bell.

She was a graduate of The University of Baltimore School of Business and had a varied career as a public school teacher, homemaker, and Branch Operations Manager for Farmers Bank & Trust. After retirement, she spent many years tending the gardens of her home, reading, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her infant son, Howard Holbrook Curtis II.

Surviving are daughters Lisa Curtis Macsherry and husband Edward, Julianne Costello and husband Michael, and Laurie Curtis Roe and husband James; step-daughter Sherryl Bell Volansky; sister Linda Bach Little and husband Lawrence; brothers Robert Bach, Howard Bach and wife Diane; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Gilchrist Hospice Care, 11311 McCormick Road, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
