Eleanor Frances Bollinger

Eleanor Frances (Wolff) Bollinger, 92, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Wellspring Village Brightview in Westminster, MD.

Born on May 7,1933 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Leo Francis Wolff and Josephine Antoinette Fertitta Wolff.  She was the beloved wife of the late Vernon Milton Bollinger, who passed in 2001.

Eleanor retired from the Baltimore City Post Office as a Supervisor. She was a substitute teacher at Sacred Heart School, and sold Tupperware for many years.  She was involved in 4-H and the American Legion Post 116 of Reisterstown.  She enjoyed girls trips, cruises, fishing, visiting her children, casinos … Had suitcase would travel, with and without supervision.

Surviving her are children: Bruce W Bollinger and wife Dotty of Kingman, AZ.  Barbara A Bean and husband Albert "Pete" of Ocala, FL.  Michael W Bollinger and wife Pat of Trafford, PA.  Ronald L Bollinger and wife Cathy of Lisbon, OH. Patricia L Adams and husband John of Berlin, MD. Diane J Shires of Owings Mills. Deborah E Deans and husband David of Ocala, FL.  She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 Great-grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-grandchild, and sister Marion Anderson.

Eleanor was predeceased by 3 beautiful babies, Mary, Betty & Bonnie, son-in-law David Shires, and siblings: Jo, Leo, Johnny And Jimmy.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday November 12, from 3-5 and 7-9pm, at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 13, at 10:30am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD 21071

Interment to follow in New Cathedral Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
