Eleanor Erma Cavey

Eleanor Erma Cavey, 92, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on July 3, 2023, at the Lorien in Taneytown, MD.  Born on July 4, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John R Harbaugh and Helen Ida (Franklin) Harbaugh.  She was the beloved wife of the late James W. Cavey, Jr., who passed away in 1998.

Years ago, Eleanor worked in accounts receivables at Malco Plastics in Owings Mills, MD. Eleanor loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially during the holidays.

Surviving her are children: Vicky & husband Paul Freiert, Sharon & husband Scott Zollman, Debby & husband Larry Fattorini, Richard Cavey, and grandchildren: Melissa Hazekamp, Jacob & Carly Freiert, Caleb & Luke Fattorini, Michael & Ben Zollman, great grandchildren: Hannah Hazekamp, Damien & Leo Wells, Brooke Fattorini, Gavin, Conner & Zoe Zollman & Penelope Fattorini, and sister: Louise Hall & husband Tom Hall.

Eleanor was predeceased by her son: James R. Cavey.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, July 10, from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, at 11 am, at the Westminster Bible Church, 310 Gorsuch Rd, Westminster, MD 21157.

A private interment will take place at a later date at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
