Eleanor Marie Houser

Eleanor Marie Houser (Hoensch), 95, of Westminster passed away surrounded by family, Thursday, November 2, 2023, seven months after the passing of her husband of nearly 74 years, William Edward Houser.  Eleanor was born on October 24, 1928, the only child of the late George and Anna Hoensch.

Eleanor worked most of her life as a domestic engineer, managing a household of seven and excelling in all areas of the job.  She will be remembered by her family as loving, kind, thoughtful, caring and patient, along with her impeccable style, leaving a void in the lives of all. We will miss her laughter, her innocence, her willingness to join in the fun, even at 85 showing her granddaughters how to do Gangnam style dancing! She was an excellent seamstress and in her free time enjoyed crocheting, knitting, Sudoku and listening to music.

Eleanor is survived by her five children, Paula Brown and husband Will, Deborah Hundertmark and husband Billy, Wendy Houser, Kim Houser and wife Lynn, and Vanessa Whitener and husband Cliff. In addition to her children, she leaves behind twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Services and interment will be private at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills, MD.
