Elizabeth Fair Sibiga, 71, of Baltimore, formerly of Hampstead, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at the Bay View Medical Center in Baltimore.
Born Feb. 8, 1936, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Philip and Gladys Irene Elliott Huber. She was the wife of John Joseph Sibiga Sr., who died Jan. 8, 1998.
She was a retired cafeteria worker for Baltimore County Public Schools.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law Beth Irene and Donald Meyers Jr. of Westminster, Darlene Lynn and Steven Resnick of Timonium, Phyllis Ann and David Balmos of Hampstead, and Jennifer Joan and Richard Slywczak of Kinsman, Ohio; sons and daughters-in-law John J. Jr. and Kristi Sibiga of Manchester, and Patrick Robert Frederick and Charleen Sibiga of Parkville; and 17 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with the Revs. Matthew and Norma Schenning of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be held at 10:45 a.m. Monday at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
