Elsie L. Bowers, 91, of Owings Mills, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Seasons Hospice in Randallstown.
Born Oct. 11, 1920, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen Abend Cramblitt. She was the wife of James L. Bowers, who died in 1985.
Surviving are grandchildren Donnie Gill, Wendy Gammon, Teresa Smith, and Chrissy Albright; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by children Elaine Gill, Shirley Spurrier, and Peggy Flora.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A private cremation will be held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester.
