Elsie Leone Corbin age 83 of Manchester, MD. died Saturday April 2, 2011 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD.
Born March 16, 1928 in Widen, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Mildred Winnie Bourne Smith. She was the wife of the late Henry Milton Corbin, Sr. who died April 3, 2001.
Years ago she was a supervisor of communications for Sinai Hospital. She enjoyed crocheting, reading mystery books and watching mystery movies. She also enjoyed country music.
She is survived by her children: Mildred J.(Judy) Corbin of Manchester, MD., Henry M.(Hank) Corbin Jr. also of Manchester, MD. and Bruce C. Corbin, Sr. of New Oxford, PA. sister: Mary Dale Jensen of Royce, Texas, brother: John Henry Smith of Fort Myers, Florida. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by a sister: Lena Jane Boylen.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Tuesday April 5, 2011 at 12:00 noon.
Interment will be in Evergreen Mem. Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral chapel.
