Elsie May Hoover age 86 of Parkton, MD. died Monday May 28, 2012 at the Rest Haven Nursing Center in York, PA.
Born Sept. 22, 1925 in Hampstead, MD., she was the daughter of the late Irvin George and Jennie Mildred Allender Rill. She was the wife of the late Harry Franklin Hoover who died in 2001.
Years ago she was a die machine worker at the Hampstead Sewing Factory. She enjoyed working.
She is survived by her children: Charles Franklin Hoover and wife Donna of Hampstead, MD., George Lee Hoover and wife JoAnn of Westminster, MD., Harry Donald Hoover and wife Diana of West Virginia, James Hoover of Red Lion, PA. and Shirley Buehrle and husband Scott of Hanover, PA. Sisters: Mary Calp, Helen Gettle and Betty Thompson all of Hampstead, MD. She was also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother: Charles Rill and daughter in law: Nina Hoover.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Friday at 10:00am.
Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Freeland, MD.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9pm at the funeral chapel.
