Elwood L. Wheeler, 94, of Accident formerly of Reisterstown died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Goodwill Retirement Community, Grantsville.
Born July 19, 1917 in Maryland, he was the son of the late Clarence Wheeler and Clara M. Mielke Wheeler. He was the husband of Nellie May Gore Wheeler, who died in 2004.
He was a retired engineer for Bendix Aviation.
Surviving are his children Jay M. Wheeler of Millsboro, DE and Carol L. Porter of Accident; his 4 grandchildren and his 16 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at All Saints Cemetery, 84 Bond Avenue, Reisterstown.
