Emma Romaine Belt, 97 years old of Reisterstown, died Wednesday, July 07, 2010 at the Bonds Forest Assisted Living in Finksburg.
Born March 29, 1913 in Baltimore County, she was the daughter of the late Robert B. Wirts and Elizabeth S. Burnett Wirts.
She was the wife of the late John C. Belt who died in 1983.
She is survived by her children: Anita Armacost of Hampstead, Peggy Brunk of Reisterstown, Eleanor Neeb of Hanover, PA., George Belt of Reisterstown, Barbara Van Falkenburg of Glenville, PA., Ovie Belt of Reisterstown, Susan Almaria of Sarasota, FL. and Ginny Kinzer of Westminster. Sister of Charles Wirts of Springfield FL., Margie Noble of Upperco and Clarence Wirts of Hanover, PA. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by 2 sons, John C. and Sonny Belt, 3 grandchildren and 6 siblings: Mary Belt, Catherine Stone,and Robert, Bennett, William and Margaret Wirts.
Friends may call on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Rev. Mindy Coates officiating.
Interment in Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.
