Emory Eugene Lyons

Emory Eugene Lyons, 95, of Windsor, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at York Hospital in York, PA. Born on April 17, 1925, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Samuel R. and Carrie C. Weckesser Lyons. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna Marie "Chick" Lyons, who passed away in 2001.

Years ago, Emory worked as a Defense Contract Manager for AAI Corporation. Emory was a proud veteran of the United States Army Air Force. He was an avid golfer and a member of AARP Golf League at Briarwood. Emory enjoyed playing cards, and he was a skilled boater and fisherman. He was a longtime member of American Legion Post 200 in Hampstead, MD.

Surviving him are his children: Melodee Hill and husband Richard, Eugene Lyons and wife Debbie, Jeffrey Lyons and wife Colleen, Russell Lyons and wife Peggy Gaegler, and Jerry Lyons and wife Missey, grandchildren: Alex Hill and wife Chelsey Keding, Andrew Hill and wife Nikki, Stacey Floam and husband Josh, Rachel Lyons, Jeffrey Lyons, Jr. and wife Katie, and Emerson Lyons and fiancée Catherine, great-grandchild: Lyric Hill, nieces: Jeane Debelius and husband Les, and Diane Neels and husband Ernest, and golfing friend: Phyllis Williams.

He was predeceased by siblings: Anna Daneker, Virginia Holbrook, and John Lyons.

Funeral services and interment are private.
