Ernest Frantz, Jr. age 73 of Hanover, PA. died Thursday Nov. 22, 2012 at the Hanover General Hospital in Hanover, PA.
Born March 10, 1939 in Baltimore Co., Maryland he was the son of the late Ernest William and Myrtle Nadine Fowble Frantz. He was the husband of Virginia Lee Wisner-Hayden Frantz.
He was a retired tool and die maker for Black & Decker where he had worked for over 35 years. He was a Air Force veteran where he spent time in Japan. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 200 Hampstead, MD. and a member of Green Springs Rod and Gun Club and a life member of the N.R.A.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Robert Frantz and wife Jenny of Hampstead, MD., Debra Riffie and husband Steve of Hanover, PA., Donna Frantz of Arizona, Lori Frantz of Hampstead, MD. and Darrin Hayden and wife Michele of Hanover, PA. 9 grandchildren, sister: Nadine Miller of Worthington Valley, MD. and an Aunt Violet Miller of Hampstead, MD.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel PA. 3296 Charmil Drive. Manchester, MD. on Tuesday at 11:00am.
Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Reisterstown, MD.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
