Ethel Alma Elizabeth Robinson, 93 years old of Baltimore died Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
Born January 23, 1918 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Eyler and Franzeska Gregersen.
She was the wife of the late Montie Robinson who died in 1997.
She was a graduate of the old Western High School in Baltimore. She married her husband Montie in 1939. She was a homemaker. In retirement she and her husband belonged to the Koppers Retirees Association with whom they took many bus trips together. She was very active with the residents at Augsburg Lutheran Village where she resided. She loved playing cards. She was a active member for close to sixty years at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, where she served on the Altar Guild. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her siblings: Emma Habert and Milton Gregersen.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen F. Ropka, her son-in-law Albert Ropka, 2 grandchildren,: Andrew and Daniel Ropka, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 7200 Liberty Rd. Baltimore, MD 21207. Pastor Stephen Everette officiating. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park.
