Eugenia Loretta Rice age 68 of Reisterstown, MD. died Tuesday Nov. 4,2008 at the Manor Care Nursing Center in Towson, MD.
Born March 3,1940 in Baltimore, MD. she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Julia Mary Hartley Rice, Sr.
She was a Baltimore County school teacher for a number of years. She was a 1958 graduate of Franklin High School in Reisterstown, MD. She attended Towson State College. She had also taught at Holy Family School in Randallstown, MD.
She is survived by her siblings: Margaret Harrington and husband Ronald of Westminster, MD., Charles E. Rice, Jr. and wife Nancy of Taneytown, MD., Patricia Abbott an husband Marvin of Reisterstown, MD., Marie Seidlich of Odenton, MD. and Joseph Rice and wife Sandra of Westminster, MD. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown, Rd. Owings Mills, MD. on Saturday Nov. 8,2008 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 pm. until the time of service at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD. 21071
