Eva Margaret Lundy

Eva Margaret Lundy, 79, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at her home. Born on February 1, 1945, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Robert Edward Preston, Sr., and Doris Emma Evans Preston. She was the beloved wife of the late William Lundy.

Eva worked as a seamstress for Haas Tailoring. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and she was very supportive with everything they did.

Surviving her are children: Doris Thompson of York, PA, James William Lafean and wife Allison of Manchester, MD, and Richard Lafean and wife Barbara of Hanover, PA, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a brother: Robert Edward Preston, Jr., and wife Jane of Georgia.

She was predeceased by her daughter: Jean Elizabeth Lafean, and sister: Mary Jane Wilkerson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, at 2 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102.
