Evelyn Louise Bowen, 82 years old of Reisterstown, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born August 19, 1928 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late David Pierce Martin and Helen Louise Benson Martin.
She was the wife of the late Clarence W. Bowen, Jr. who died in 1991.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for 15 years, a leasing agent for 15 years at Morningside Heights Housing Complex and cashier for Marks Deli in Reisterstown.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Jacklyn L. and John Zeiler of Ocean Pines, MD.; Glenn W. Bowen and his wife Bonnie Harmon of Westminster, 2 granddaughters: Gretchen L. and Karen M. Zeiler both of Harford County. She was the companion of Milton Peacock of Finksburg.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
